Hugo is a gentle, intelligent, and affectionate Standard Poodle who embodies everything we love about the breed. He has an easygoing temperament and a calm, kind presence that makes him a favorite among both people and dogs alike.

Hugo enjoys long walks and playtime with our other dogs, big and small. His gentle nature shines when he’s around puppies — he instinctively adjusts his play to match their size and ability, showing remarkable patience and awareness. We never have to worry when he’s with the little ones; he’s their gentle giant and trusted teacher.

Hugo easily passed his Canine Good Citizen (CGC) test in March 2019, showcasing his excellent manners and cooperative personality.

His name, “Hugo Rain,” comes from the stormy day we brought him home. It poured the entire trip, and though we considered rescheduling many times, we pressed on — and it was worth every mile. Hugo was truly the silver lining of that rainy day.

Standing 26 inches at the withers and weighing 55 pounds, Hugo is a beautifully balanced stud with elegance and strength. He consistently produces stunning puppies that inherit his calm demeanor, intelligence, and charm.
