🧠 Volhard Temperament Tested
Marlow’s Volhard testing showed us a people-oriented, cooperative and nicely balanced puppy. He wants to be with his people and is willing to follow their lead, while still having enough confidence to investigate the world around him.
One thing that especially stood out in his testing was his softer response to sound, so I think Marlow will thrive with a family that uses positive training and continues giving him lots of good experiences with new sights, sounds, people and places. Overall, his results were beautifully consistent and suggest a puppy who should be responsive, adaptable and very connected to his family. ❤️
And then there’s his COLOR. 👀
Marlow looks black at first glance, but if you look closely at his back, his coat is already showing a noticeable lighter, warm/smoky cast underneath the black. I do not expect this boy to remain the same solid black color he is today. Exactly where his adult color lands will be part of the fun of watching him grow! 😍
He should be a wonderful fit for someone looking for an intelligent, affectionate Standard Poodle companion who will enjoy being involved with his people and learning alongside them.
