Decorating for the Holidays with Your Poodles in Mind

Hey everyone! As we head into the first week of December, I wanted to share some tips on how I keep our home festive while making sure our poodles stay safe and happy. After all, a poodle-friendly holiday home is a joyful one!

  1. Securing the Tree: I always make sure our Christmas tree is nice and secure so that no curious pup can knock it over. I keep the fragile ornaments up top and use shatterproof ones on the lower branches, just in case one of the poodles gets a little too interested.

  2. Choosing Pet-Safe Plants: Instead of poinsettias or holly, which can be a bit risky for dogs, I like to use pet-friendly decorations or even some artificial greenery that still looks festive.

  3. Holiday Treats for the Pups: And of course, I love making a few special holiday-themed treats for the poodles so they can join in the fun. I’ll share a couple of simple recipes that are safe and delicious for them.

Hope you all enjoy making your home merry and bright—and poodle-approved!
